Borewell Project
A detailed look into the planning, execution, and impact of our borewell initiative
One bore well can transform an entire community for generations.
Join us in changing lives—one bore well, one village, one family at a time.
Every day across rural villages and underserved communities in India, families struggle to access one of life's most basic necessities—clean and safe drinking water. For many, the only available sources are contaminated ponds, rivers, or stagnant water bodies that expose entire communities to waterborne diseases.
Women and children often walk long distances each day to collect water, sacrificing valuable time that could be spent in school, at work, or caring for their families. The lack of clean water affects health, education, livelihoods, and the future of entire villages.
Transforming Communities
A single bore well can impact an entire village of 1,000 people or more. Clean water reduces disease, improves health, keeps children in school, and frees women from spending hours each day fetching water.
Beyond meeting a physical need, these projects bring renewed hope and strengthen community relationships. Villagers experience practical care and compassion, creating opportunities for long-term community development and transformation.
When we make a bore well, we are doing more than providing water—we are giving families better health, dignity, opportunity, and hope for the future.
Bringing Hope Through Bore Wells
One of the greatest needs today is access to reliable, clean drinking water. To address this urgent need, CMI partners with local communities to install deep bore wells in villages where safe water is unavailable.
Each bore well is equipped with:
A deep water source for clean drinking water
An electric motor pump for easy access
A concrete platform to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
Reliable water access for hundreds of families
